Tarot Carousel was designed from the start to serve a global audience. The app detects your browser language automatically and loads the appropriate translation. You can also switch languages manually using the language picker (top-right corner).
All card names, zodiac signs, moon phases, planets, and UI elements are translated for each language. Forecast texts are written natively in English, Russian, and Ukrainian (660 texts each). All other languages display forecasts in English while the rest of the UI appears in the selected language.
Most free tarot online tools serve the same generic card description regardless of who is asking. Tarot Carousel's hybrid numerological-astrological forecast engine creates genuinely different readings for different people drawing the same card.
1. Elemental Compatibility — Your zodiac sign belongs to one of four elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water), as does each tarot card. The compatibility between these two elements (1.0 for same, 0.3 for opposite) forms the foundation of your forecast tone.
2. Moon Phase — The current moon phase is calculated mathematically for your reading date. Eight phases (New Moon through Waning Crescent) each carry a different energy modifier, influencing whether the forecast is amplified or subdued.
3. Ruling Planet Alignment — Each zodiac sign and each tarot card has an associated planet. When these match (e.g., Leo + The Sun, both ruled by the Sun), the reading receives a significant positive boost.
4. Planetary Day — Each day of the week is ruled by a planet in traditional astrology. When that planet aligns with your zodiac ruler, a bonus personal phrase is added to your forecast.
5. Deterministic Seed — A unique seed is generated from your zodiac index, card ID, date, and period. This means the same inputs on the same day always produce the same forecast — creating a consistent daily message rather than a different random text every refresh.
